Talked to Ernie at Kings River Outfitters. He says they are low-floatable now but still rising in that area, so cautious optimism for tomorrow a.m. to be okay there, so that might be one option.

We'd love to do Marble to Marshall Ford because we never have and it is easy to get to (bonus!). Would it make sense to rendezvous at that Conoco (Kings River Store) in Marble? If so, what time?

THIS time I'll be more attuned to the plan.

It's pouring down in Eureka. :rain: :rain: Tourists are scattering like rats. I think this might make a run from 62 to 143 or Stony Point possible. I may drive back to the bridge & check it out. Anyone interested in that section? Tomorrow? Sunday?

Already left painterbob a vm about what he's up to. We are flexible and just want to get on some water in the area. That's a stretch we haven't done, which is appealing.

Well, no further communications and as I've made apparent before (yikes) I'm not good at the late night or early morning last minute board communiques! BUT if you decide to do that stretch on Sunday, let me know.

Just checked Kings at 62 bridge. Still low but looks floatable with maybe (probably??) a little scoot 'n drag . . .

Susan and I are now planning on going out this evening on Beaver lake for a 2-3hour paddle around 6PM or 7ish if anyone wants to join us.

Got two- three spare boats and gear and lights for them if we stay out past dark. (Susan said we would be back before dark)

Could also go out again after we come back in, if someone wants to go for a paddle in the dark. I've paddled a lot in the dark in the summer as it is cooler then. Could drive up around HW 12 bridge if that would be closer for anyone and paddle there this afternoon. ( takes me about 45 minutes to get loaded and drive up there)
