Oklahoma paddlers will always be indebted to Bobby for his contirbutions on SE Oklahoma creeks. I think Bobby may have had more runs on Clear cr than anyone. I will never forget the first time I ran Clear cr. Bobby and I are sitting above Boof Bouce and Slide. Bobby had not run it yet and it was my first time on the creek. We were looking at the rapid and Bobby says "what do you think Terry" I say "Bobby this is the day" the weather was perfect and so was the level, and we both had great runs. I have to say it is a highlight of my paddling career. I have a great picture of Bobby in the slide part of BBS hanging next to my front door.
I will miss Bobby and think of him often. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Unfortunately, I didn’t know Mr. Bohn.

But every time I hear of a boater passing, it is as if I had lost one of my own Family and a part of myself.

Because in reality, I have.

My Heart is on the Ground.

My prayers and thoughts, too, will be with the Family.
Keep Your Stick in the Water!

I like all of you on this board am in shock with Bobby's passing. All though I am not a paddler per say like Bobby he was one
of the first that I made friends with at Horshoebend. I saw him many times thru the week when the water was running.
I will miss him very much! May god grace his blessings upon Bobby's family.

Wow hard to believe someone as skilled as Bobby could go this way. I only paddled with him a few times on the Little Mo but like everyone has said he was always smiling and filed with a zest for life that was infectious.
What a great loss not just for the paddling community but to the whole planet.

This is how I remember Bobby. Didn't know him if he wasn't in his paddling gear.
My sympathies to all that knew him.

All day at work today, the only image in my head was the huge smile Bobby always had on his face. He was a pleasure to be around and to boat with. My heart goes out to his family and to Heath and his family. It is awesome how Bobby touched and inspired so many of us all across this state. He will truly be missed.

Thanks Dan! That's Bobby, and good shots on your part! I think, on my only float I was using an older water-resistant film camera I had, so it could be too long before I found a shot. Your photos are so nice, you make any and all of us look good all the time.

Best Regards
Jim

Wrestled with this all day. Crept into my mind several times on the creek today. I hope after we have had a chance to grieve that we can somehow try to figure this out and figure out what happened and try to learn from it.

Deepest sympathy to Bobby's wife, kids and family. I am sure they are crushed.
