I am posting this in several places to be sure no one misses it, dealing with the river levels for Sat.:

Ok, Barry with the COE says it is running at 750 cfs of now. As far as he knows it will be running at that level this weekend, BUT a deviation has been put in for a bass tournament on the lake side. As far as he knows it hasn't been approved. IF it is approved it would be shut back but only for a short while. He has promised to let me know if there are any changes.

clear as mud?

Sure! If there are enough open boaters participating, we can arrange an open boat event...I'm down with whatever.

Yeah,

While I'm not in opposition of slalom courses, not sure if we'll tackle that this go round. C1ers should be able to compete w/ the kayakers in a downriver freestyle event. As far as the open boaters, maybe a timed surf in the bottom hole? or if they want they can do down river freestyle too...I'm not an open boater, so I"m not exactly sure on how that would work...

I would paddle an open boat, if someone will let me in one. I am sure you could ender one at the bottom hole if you can keep it straight long enough.

This is also posted in another tread but I want to be sure it gets full coverage:
Ok here is a run down on what is available this weekend:

Site 7: Taken by Sabrina and company
Site 7.5 (yea this a odd one) taken by Michele Jackson and company
Site 10, 11, and pavilion (around) anyone may camp.

PLEASE DON'T CAMP IN THE PAVILION!

If we have any big meal like last time why not just use the pavilion?

Sat during the day the pavilion will only be used by Jeremy M. for the festivities.

If you get to 10 or 11 first please don't take down the rope.
Those on 7 or 7.5 come see me or Janet (she will always be at the camper and
she is aware of who is supposed to get these sites. My apologies for those that was
supposed to get site 7 last weekend! My informal reservation system may not be the best
but it will have to do!

As always if I can help either post or send me a PM and if another site comes open I will post it here or the Throw Down tread.
