I will be there with some ACC 2008 Rendezvous canoe raffle tickets.

This year's boat is a 15' 6" Bell Yellowstone tandem canoe. Tickets are $5.00 each.

The 2008 Canoe Raffle is sponsored by Riverside Subaru. Subaru America offers a $1300 - $3300 discount for American Canoe Association members.

I'm sorry to say that the AGFC representative was unable to make the meeting so we went to plan B and showed pictures from the Government Day and a recent San Juan trip by one of our memebers.

I'm rescheduling with AGFC and will post when I can get a better date for their visit.

Actually, it seemed like most folks enjoyed visiting and had a good time! Not that we don't enjoy programs, but every once in a while it's nice to just hang out with other paddlers! Crane

I suggest everyone makes sure they have the next meeting - Tuesday Sept 23 - on their calendars, because I don't think you'll want to miss the next presentation!

"Stan" aka Margaret Bartelt has set a goal for herself to paddle all 49 states in the contiguous US. As of right now, she's been in 42 of those 49. There's a brief little teaser about her travels in the current ACC newsletter that just went out, but I think you'll want to see her slides and hear her tales first hand! I know I can't wait to hear more about her adventures!
