Richard, T Yamashita has added a canoe strokes class at 9:00 am on Saturday. I know you said in the past that you would be interested in a canoe strokes class right now it's the same time as your Canoe Camping 101 let me know if you want to try to go to T's class and maybe we can move your class to a later time or something?

What times are available?

Richard, would it help if a few of us who have Bill's Bags from NRS or other dry bags that can really take submersion bring them for you to demo? I'd be happy to do that. Doesn't Dave Reid have a Watershed Duffle or two? Those are others that are made to be submersed (picture raft flipping).
I'll have my outfitter pad with me, if you want to show a few options for those.
I know--you're such a pro at this that you probably need nothing, but it would be fun to attend. I know I could learn something from you! :)

Bob, if it'll help, I can bring the big Bill's bag and save you from including it. I'd love to see the Watersheds in person!

Thanks Kim - I'll not bring the Bill's bag - only my three Watersheds (old and new style OCOEE and new style COLORADO).

Richard, I also have an El Cheapho Wallieworld "dry" bag that I can bring that is not so dry, in case folks want to see the difference. It took almost nothing on our Green River trip to get stuff inside damp.

Could someone (Richard and/or Bob) remind me on Friday to grab the Bill's Bag? Tomorrow is my late night at work, and knowing my memory lately . . . .

I'll have some ammo boxes, a pickle barrel, and a Gamma seal bucket, in addition to my dry bags, tarps and tent if you need any of it for show and tell.

BTW - Ozark Mountain Trading Company has started carrying 2 sizes of the blue plastic pickle barrels with handles at their store on HW 62 north of Rogers if you want to see the item in hand when you buy it rather than getting over the internet like I did. They are both smaller than my 20 gallon size which should make them more usable in a wider variety of watercraft. Would guess they are 14 and maybe 10 gallon capacity.
