I may be able to head down there and join you all, if you don't mind. It would be me and another gal. We're supposed to head to the BlueGrass up in Eureka, but then if it RAINS; well priority is paddle! Let me know what time, etc. as the weekend draws closer! Would like to paddle with Lifejacket and Owl also! See ya.

I definitely want to paddle Saturday if there's any kind of water at all. Dragover looks to be 3 ft now, & I think it will at least be OK with just a little rain. I'll plan on Saturday if anyone goes. Should we change to a new thread called "Dragover/Caddo Aug 23"?

Me and my brother joined Greg and his buddy Perry and had a good trip Saturday, got on about 11:30. We put in at Hwy. 298 and floated to the end of dragover loop. Level was about 3.6, note from 298 to Dragover put-in there are a few long pools. I will wait to see what the rain does before making tenative plans for this weekend.

We did that same run Friday morn. Had two in-laws with me that needed to work on some basics so I wanted some easier water for them to start with. I had hoped that the flat sections weren't as bad/long as I had remebered but that hadn't changed. 3.87 through dragover made for some fun play spots.

I would agree about the flat sections, might not have been as bad had the fish bite been a little better.
