Thank you Kim and everyone else for making it such a wonderful day for my grandson and others.

Actually Heather, I've seen Walter in a skirt. The image still haunts me to this day. -shivers-

Just wanted to add my thanks to all the ACC folks who made Surf and Turf a success; especially Kim and the cook staff. I don’t want to miss anyone so won’t list all the names but Kim pulled it together. The Central Chapter and I’m sure the rest of ACC chapters really appreciate it.

Thanks everyone

I'll continue the kudos to everyone involved! It was my first (of many) S-N-T's, and I had a blast! Thanks to Heather for the "ferry clinic", and thanks to Cowper and Renee for being there when Cowper's "follow-the-leader" game resulted in my swim of the day!! lol... :hammer: Also thanks to Karla for shooting and posting the pics and video! The raft rides were a blast!

Looking forward to Rendezvous!!!

HLN, Someone should have explained Cowper's philosophy of instruction... Many, he will point to where he wants you to go, knowing it is a very safe line. Those he likes, he provides High Intensity instruction, taking them on more adventurous lines where their skills will be somewhat testeds. Those he REALLY likes, he gives Super High Intensity Training (S.H.I.T.), which insures your educational opportunities are maximized!! Congratulations! Now... I'd advise not letting him give you S.H.I.T. on Richland Creek for at least a little while... until you've had both levels of Swiftwater Rescue...

The O.O.O. crew and I would also like to thank those individuals who make Surf & Turf a great success and a great time every year. We would also like to thank the A.C.C. central chapter for allowing us to participate. With respect to the party we really want to thank the band, Carl, Ray and his group for coming down, setting up and jammin out, also thanks to all of you that showed up for your support over the years, but most importantly your friendship. For those that were unable to attend this year, you were missed and we look forward to seeing you next year. Thanks again... See Ya at the VOUS!

And as far as I know, no cars were injured in making the OOO party a success this year...

Well, OK, I'm not counting the minor scratches in my own truck when Roy and I dropped the raft frame on it in the OOO Parking lot. I don't think it counts if it is your vehicle you do it to.

Cowper,

I should have left the trailer, the one with the with the nice comfy carpet, to disassemble that bad old raft frame on :)

You were a hit at S&T with that raft, I only heard good things!

I would also like to add my thank-you. I really appreciate all the good food that was provided. The burgers seemed better than ever. All the other side dishes and desserts were awesome too. Craig and I did the downriver float Sat. a.m. and it was great to grab a plateful of food when we got off the river. Thanks to Richard Mc. for letting us join he and some of his family for the morning float.

Also thanks to all who brought their dogs and shared them with Alyssa. She had a blast!! She loves dogs more than us I think.

Thanks to OOO for the great party. The food, music, and fellowship was good. Ray's choice of songs took me back several years.

Sunday afternoon was fun too. Thanks to Sabrina for giving Alyssa some kayak instruction. Sabrina is so good with the kids!! Alyssa is thrilled that she "rolled" a kayak.

My highlight Sunday afternoon was surfing in the Cascade with Randy. It was my first time and it was a blast. I may have to learn how to do that by myself.

We'll mark our calendars for next year's Surf 'n Turf. It's always a great event. Thanks again to all who make it possible.
