Improvements to the Siloam Springs Kayak Park

Mother nature started renovating early. Moving this rock, from cemented into the edge of the kiddy pool, to the middle of the slab.

The ford has been at perfect all weekend, yet few boaters. I'm gonna keep going until the gates are closed, and water is shut off. Not sure if they can make the top any better at this point. Its good glassy fun now!-M-

The latest "rumor" is the ford won't be closed until after Labor Day. We had a big fun crowd there today .

Sorry I haven't updated the post, but I haven't heard an updated schedule until yesterday evening.
Management will be in next week to begin the process. (Rent equipment and such)
Right now closure will start Sep. 8 and will be closed for approx. a week to ten days.
I will continue to update this thread if something changes.
I will try to post update photos through closing.

I finally have a date for the work on the park.

Right now, the park is set to close the 21st. of this month. (Sept.)
If that changes, I will let you know.
I will be posting pics n' such as the work progresses.
We will try to have a gathering when it is done.
