She needs neoprene so she will learn what real paddlers smell like. & her mom will love having that smell in the house :grin:

I'll echo everyone else. The NRS hydroskin line is great. I wear it most of the spring with a paddle jacket. Keep an eye on the "Sale" tab on their website. Good deals can be found.

Got my first Hydroskin long sleeve shirt in the mail this week. Plan on trying it out at WW school. Hopefully it's all its cracked up to be.

Long sleeve Hydroskin top with "rodeo" neoprene pants. Beware of the hydro silk, it actually gets cold when it gets wet. Counter productive. I add a splash jacket for wind protection if needed.

Thanks for the avice everyone! I bought her a pair of Hydroskin shorts, a short sleeve Hydroskin top and a very nice breathable splash top. Also have a farmer Jane lined up for her and a nonbreathable Kokatat dry suit that I hope she never has to wear because she'd probably be as wet from sweat as she would from swims. I think we're in good shape. Now we just need some water for this weekend.
