Rain, Rain , Rain!! River Trip for Monday 11-24

Another no-no is loading boats before the rains. I may be partially to blame, because I loaded my gear in the car Sat night.

I think I may need to share in the blame. Standing there on Saturday in Razorback Stadium, I may have silently wished it would stop raining around the 3rd quarter. I'm not sure if paddling and football karma gods align or work in reverse to each other. The Football God may have listened to me and made the rain back off or it's possible the Paddling Goddess, who works in reverse, may have laughed at me and let it keep raining.

Yes , Curtis I sure did jinxed the rain. I was only joking with Clay. Haven't seen him in As while & was trying to get him up here.

Better news the Ford was great today & a few of us showed up there instead . Had a good crowd of boaters out today & cut it up. It was a bit windy yet really not that cold . I got one or two pictures of mike surfing the upper wave . The bottom wave looked really good today but it wasn't holding anyone but Will. And he was tearing it up! Good to see everyone & next time I'll hold off a bit till I see the rivers start rising a little more. Yet I don't know it sure created a excellent day today at the Ford!!
