...Ok...but quiet time at eleven PM for the children on the other side of the campground, all camp fires must 'hover' at least 6 inches above the grass, no dogs except Archie, free beer for the host, Chrissy handles all Facebook posts for the campground, and most important of all - Alarm must be disabled on the "SILVER F***ING SUBARU!!".

That is freaking funny, Charles!!!! :D And, yes, I think I could manage the FB updates without a problem! Now, as for the Silver Subaru, this long standing (since 2014 WW school) joke will never get old. Honestly, never.

And, back to the original reason for this post, I love, love, love the park.
Even if you're not surfing, it's the perfect place to practice... rolling, ferrying, eddy turns, etc.
I agree about the porta potties, they can get really rank. Not sure what a solution would be, though, so not much help there.
And, the bottom wave needs some work so that people don't get hurt.
Camping would be awesome, but probably not much we can do about that, either?

Mike - It did take me a minute, but I was educated on the definition of "blow log" around the fire at Vous last Saturday. Apparently, becoming banned in campgrounds all over the country. :D ...and yes, that is why my address has now changed.

The only thing bad about the SS Kayak Park I can see is the location & roads. If I get behind a slow moving vehicle, it can take me 5-6 minutes just to get to the park. Obviously, if I'm going for a surf during my lunch break, this can REALLY cut into my water time. :eh: :shifty:

Steve, just a curious. Are there going to be 'funds' available [either from city, WM grant, etc] to keep the area below the features at the park "cleaned out" after flooding? I noticed last night that top wave has little to no curl on it and wonder if it isn't just due to it becoming so shallow as sediment/rocks are filling in the drop beneath.

1 more thing. Maybe drop a few more in stream boulders a bit up river of the features creating some small eddys that people could use to practice eddy turns/peel outs ect.
