Another bonus for chefs: We'll have a propane blaster for fast chimney-started charcoal. Much better'n newspaper and lots less smoke.
Note: each entrant will be responsible for monitoring his/her fire and taking care of coals afterwards. We will make that easy, of course. Fire pans of some sort are a must to keep coals off ground or concrete surfaces. There is water very near the cooking area.
You've got a month to perfect those recipes. Get cooking!

Jeez, I must be terrified of this "new generation" cause I just signed up for a three day clinic on DO Cooking by that renowned cast iron chef 'Cee Dub".
With out Senor Roger there, not much competition for us 'old guys'
dave
PS: maybe I can give ole Cee Dub a few tips in partial payment for the good stuff he is sure to give me

Dave you may be suprised at what these youngsters can do in the camp kitchen. If nothing else come and give them a lesson or two. Nothing like learning from the experienced.

If you plan to cook and enter a dish, give me heads up here, email off this page, PM, or smoke signals. Down to one "loaner" Dutch Oven at present.
