See ya'll tomorrow.

Deuce,
If we put on 11:00ish we should be off by 4:00 or 4:30. It all depends on how long our breaks are. Water should move along pretty good at this level. We can meet a little earlier if needed.

Ugh. Wanna go bad, but I was on the Buff last weekend and I'm off next Friday which means I'll be somewhere then, and I'll be gone first of May. Plus, we have dinner plans with another couple tomorrow night and I'll be in trouble with Mrs. Deuce
and another girl if (when?) I'm late.

All signs on the homefront point to class V consequences if I go. Better stay here I reckon. Y'all have fun!

I understand. That's why I'm paddling Fri. instead of Sat. IF I wasn't home in time to take some pics and see HHH and the little fella off I might see some

Cindy, Minna and I had a wonderful day paddling Sims to Dragover. Saw a juvenile Bald Eagle, an Osprey, numerous Kingfishers and a poor Canadian Goose with a broken wing. Minna got to try out her 'new to her' XP9. She really likes it; no surprise there, to me. There are some new houses along this stretch of river. Still very scenic though. River conditions were great. We put on at 3.46'; just under the optimal 3.5'. The big root-ball and trees on river left about 1/2 mile above House Rock Rapid is sill there. It is runnable at extreme river left. Slot is kinda narrow so some may wish to portage. The gravel bar that was behind the big rock at HRR last year is gone; making the drop just river right of the big rock a good line again. Road to the take out is in decent shape. Take out parking area is still soft so use care when parking and turning around. Hope to hit this section again soon.
