Cross Bars, Boats and Cipherin'
Re: Cross Bars, Boats and Cipherin'
Do we need to start a support group? BLA (Boat Losers Anonymous) perhaps?
You come too.

I'm already in swimmers anonymous, I don't think I can handle another support group at this time.

It is just a matter of time!
Boat long enough and you will swim
and
Travel with a boat long enough and you will loose same.
The more you boat and travel, the greater the chance.

Understood, Mr. Dave. Already exited the boat a few times.

Good support group. I bashed in the hood and side of Lori's new Cherokee two weeks in a row back before the new bridge was built over the Cadron on HWY 65. Front tie downs don't work when you are driving down a steep incline & the next week I had the rain gutter clamps so tight they broke the gutters off on a ride down to Kyles.

We are all afflicted with Cognitive Dissonance. The greater our religious, social, financial or political affiliation, the greater the affliction. We hear what we want to hear. We believe what we want to believe. Truth becomes irrelevant.

Standard electrical conduit pipe. I would say it is 1/2". Because a Subaru is not tall, I put tennis balls on the ends to protect me from head injury. There is some flex but it has not been a problem. Longest trip with the conduit cross bars was to the Current River. Very high and gusty cross winds. I use rope . . . not straps.
