All of you did an outstanding job!, What a load of junk! Thanks for the pictures, and more so for the effort you made!
It was just last Winter when Cowper led several of us helpers to work on the Saline River here in the Benton area to police up a bunch of junk, including a whole ski boat, flat-screened TV, bags of everyday trash, a nice couch and sectional ensemble , tires, and more :D
This weekend's haul you all secured, as well as last Winter's haul, makes me think of another venture several years ago when Mike Coogan directed our efforts on a clean-up from Remmel Dam on downriver. I never thought we were going to get to the downriver part because Mike had located a whole derelict, steel-framed boat dock right across from the put-in, below the dam, that had washed over in a major flood. It was a lot of work with the saw-saw to get that thing in 'manageable' pieces, and across the river, and in a pile to be picked up!
I had a great morning fishing last Saturday, but am always indebted to everyone who works on these projects as they can and do.

Best Regards
Jim

Wow...impressive! And it looks like you had too much fun in the process. Our load was much smaller, but we had a pretty good time too.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of secondary stability a chunk of foam has. I never thought I'd be able to board and stand on it with Crash and Cowper fore and aft. Pretty cool. Just like a loaded tripping boat; heaviest weight in the center.
You come too.
