I'm a brand new member coming from Tulsa. Liz gave me GPS coordinates, so hopefully I can find the put in. Going to try and be there around 11 and can hopefully shuttle with someone as I have no idea where I'm going. Looking forward to it!

Matthew, and Dave,
We will stop by the take out at 11am for a' moment or two' before heading up. We have boats to unload/blow up/chicken lunch to eat, and so fourth at the upper end, so we will head up to the put-in shorty, however as always have a group of room for anyone wanting to catch a ride.

We're coming along as well. May be a bit later than the crowd at put in but will catch up.

Hi Edgar. Hope to see you in October at the Current. I was going to Remmel tomorrow (never done it) but I don't see a trip there. Little Mo is nice, have a good time.

Richard, I'm not sure of the best route from Conway. Coming from LR we always go through arkadelphia. I think you might want to go through hot springs then glen wood to Murfreesboro. At Murfreesboro you get on Hwy 19 N to the put in which is at the dam so you can't miss it.

That was fun! Many thanks to all those who helped rescue me and my boat. Cool H2O felt good on this hot day. :fish:
Felt a little fast too. ;)

A good day, indeed! Jim, you did really well with the new "IK". I had to ask, it's an Inflatable Kayak.

I just had a blast in that IK, it just bobs right along! I do know now that I'll have to always dress for sun exposure more on my lower half than with my conventional sit-in kayaks

I have a friend I let paddle my sot one day. I have not seen many sunburns worse than the one he got on his legs. He doesn't wear shorts or own a pair of jeans that aren't Wranglers. Needless to say the next week was very uncomfortable and I learned to force sunscreen on anyone paddling the sot's
