The Caddo River at Glenwood has 'Caddo River Canoe&Cabin outfitter', and just up the Hwy 8 at Caddo Gap is 'Arrowhead Canoe Outfitter' both have sit-on-top type kayaks to rent. They may also have some sit-in kayaks too, just need to visit with them. If the Caddo is in the 6- 61/2ft. range, I think you'd like the Caddo to get started with and the scenery is very nice. Just remember the water is going to be cold enough for the next couple of months to be an issue if not prepared for it.
