Victor won't be there. Even if he says otherwise.

Re: Pool Sessions in NW Arkansas - Jones Center
Looking forward to my first roll session and meeting a great group of paddlers Saturday!
Hoping there will be someone there that can help me on getting down the technique of rolling

Re: Pool Sessions in NW Arkansas - Jones Center
I've loaded my gear with the intention of coming to the pool tomorrow, but will have to see how much pain I am in when morning comes. PROBABLY NOT GOING TO LOAD A BOAT UNLESS SOMEONE CALLS ME AT 7am. (721-9101)
Saw my doctor Thursday and after ordering an MRI of my C6/C7 discs to further investigate latest degenerative disc disease problems with pain, numbness, and loss of muscular control, and prescribing me some meds, he wrote on my instruction sheet "You should be a bit reserved with your exercise regimen until this is better diagnosed".
I invited him to roll practice, and he knows I intend to come help out. HE did not tell me NOT to do it and he knows that if he doesn't want me to do something, he has to tell me outright and boldly.
Nice when you have a doctor who paddles a bit and knows you and what you REALLY do and with whom you feel free to talk to about anything. HE knew when I really started back paddleing after my knee replacement and after the rotator cuff surgery even if the orthopedic surgeons and the cardiologist did not in those first three months.

Re: Pool Sessions in NW Arkansas - Jones Center
Had a great time at the roll session this morning! Met some new people involved in the club and look forward to paddling with them! Big Thanks to Eric for taking his time with me on teaching me the fundamentals of learning how to roll. Hes a great instructor and I look forward to taking future lessons with him.
Already looking forward to the next session and crossing my fingers that we get a good wet spring this year so we have some water to play in for the spring/summer events and paddle trips!
Thanks again ACC for organizing these types of events and welcoming me to the club!

I was planning on attending the pool session this saturday but don't have the equipment. All I have is a kayak and I probably would need a skirt with a large keyhole or deck and probably medium tunnel along with a paddle and life jacket. If anyone has the equipment and is able to bring it, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

I can and will bring a spare paddle, helmet, and PFD, but it would be helpful to know what type boat you are trying to fit for the sprayskirt.
