Carl & Mike will be there. We'll be the disappointed looking guys wishing we were going to paddle BDV. Is it time yet to trade my canoe in for a four wheeler???

Will there likely be any climbing over beaver dams etc on Wattensaw?

I've only seen one beaver dam, at very low water levels, on this section of Wattensaw. But it is possible we won't see any; I'd be surprised if we see more than one.
On another note, while we found Bayou DeView with not enough water today, approximately 7 miles to the West they have issued a "Flood Warning" for the Cache River, which is expected to reach 7.9 feet by Monday. (8.0 feet is considered flood stage for the Cache at Patterson).
We just barely missed getting to do DeView! (hmmm, sounds like a Mtn Dew commercial, doesn't it?)

I really have some things I need to get done tomorrow so if I am not there by 9:30 I won't be coming. Haven't totally made up my mind. Have to work early Monday am. Really would like to paddle but back and forth on getting some stuff done. Will decide in the am for sure. Will call you Cowper if I am on my way. If you don't hear from me, then I'm not coming.

Will the Cache flooding put water in Henry Gray/Hurricane Lake WMA?

No, the White River is between them so any water coming down the Cache can't get there.
However, the same rain that hit the Cache may have also hit Hurricane and levels there have likely improved at least some, but I don't know now much.

Some photos from today's trip are posted here:

For me, the highlight of the trip was our explorations INSIDE a large cypress tree... After squeezing through a small opening in the base, it opened into a chamber where several people could stand, and it was possible to climb inside the tree to look out of several openings that were more than 20 feet off the ground....
