OK, OK, Wednesday it is.
Since we'll be missing roll sessions Wednesday evening, anyone who wants some of that needs to post up and let us know so we can get to the river early. Once the release starts, it will be time for paddling, not rolling!

I'll be there early for Wed. and I need roll lessons in a bad way! Lol! Almost threw my back out today trying to practice them in the lake at home. I can shuttle 4 people plus myself. I can probably haul at least 4 boats too. I'll be driving a Toyota Tacoma.

FWIW, $14 isn't enough to buy a 750ml bottle of yummy dark beer I have my eye on at Pop-a-Top. :)

Mike and I will have a full vehicle, and prefer going to the top first to unload people and gear. Everyone is welcome to make whatever shuttle arrangements are best for them. Just be sure to be back at the put-in at the 3 p.m. alarm sounding for the water release!

Liz,
I think you and Mike deserve the "rafters special". Since you need a little extra time for raft rigging, if you want to just go to the top and count on us to set shuttle so that you don't have to get there extra-early, to rig AND set shuttle, that is fine by me. We'll get you back to the top!
Bryan,
So, I'll throw in 2 or $3, and we could get a 30 pack of several beers I would drink. I also have many friends that would see my choice as the "best" kind (cold and free)
737driver,
I'll plan on being at the take out at 1 PM. That way we can set shuttle and still have about an hour to play with rolling. I don't mind helping at all - but let me know if your plans change - I do mind sitting in the hot sun by myself when I could have been browsing at OOO!

Ok. Great. I'll plan to be at the take out at 1pm. I'll be driving a silver Toyota Tacoma. I'll let you know if something changes. Thanks!

Louis, come join us! Wed. Or Fri. Or both. You can leave that Subaru at my house and ride with me!
That's a fine offer, Phil. Are ya sure you're just not really after the PRESTIGE of having a Subaru in your driveway? I've gotta bicycle and swim a lot the next 3 weeks to do one more tri and then paddling will be # 1 again. I did Eureka Springs Friday and you Arkansans' definition of "a rolling hills course" is WAY different than ours here in Louisiana.
Still got a paddling trip somewhere Oct 13 - 17 to the Eminence area if there's water. Almost sure to be enough for a Current River overnighter too. Keep those dates open and have a great time Wed and Fri. Don't get so good you quit paddling with me!

You caught me Louis! It was all about that Subaru in my driveway!
I'll be looking forward to Eminance.
Now I'm confused about the Shuttle! If y'all see me at hwy 19 and 13th street with
a bewildered look on my face, like I'm lost and dazed please help me decide which
way to go.

Since Mike and Liz have a full car - both of people and of boats - then they really should go to the put in first as in effect they've already saved all the gas and mileage they can by carpooling the full distance from Little Rock to the river. Even if they stopped at the take out, they can't take on any more boats or people.
I will be at the take out at 2:30, and I will be able to add boats and/or people to my car, or would like to throw in with someone else to head to the put it. I need to work in the morning, so I won't be getting there earlier than that, but that's more than enough time to drive 6 miles to the put in and still be ready to hit the water when the siren sounds.
So Phil - I'll see you there and anyone else! Mike/Liz...if you drive your truck down to the take out about 2:30, I'm sure I can fit you into my car to shuttle back to the top as well.
Aly/Mandy - if you want, I could stop in Benton and pick you all up again to carpool. I won't be juggling the canoe this time, so it'll be a bit easier!

@Cowper
You are so right, cold and free IS the favorite beer of many. The shelves of the store are lined with many types of beer and the world is a better place because of it.

Heather. I will work in the morning and leave little rock @ 12:30. I will plan to meet at the takeout at 2:30 and have room for at least 2 kayaks on my car. John.

Thanks Heather! Think I'll drop my boat at the put in then drive down to the take out.
so I'll need a ride back up.

Great Woody! See you there. We're going a bit early to work on rolls, so if we're not still at the take-out when you get there, feel free to go on to the top. If you get there early too, we'll have enough trucks at the bottome to cover EVERYBODY's shuttle.

You guys are killing me with these Lil MO trips.
I hear about how great the water is
and how much fun y'all are having
and here I am with an uncooperative L5 vertebrae
(won't stay where it's supposed to be). If I can get straightened out I plan on taking 1/2 day's V and joining y'all for some fun.
Hopefully I wont
myself.
