Will there be any "scheduled" paddles on Saturday? There are a couple of beginner paddlers interested in coming. Will the paddles be beginner friendly?

Will there be anyone present and willing to allow Aly and I to try out their (solo) ww canoe? We figure that this is a year of many firsts so we should try out these (redheaded stepchild) (not our words) boats at least on some flatwater.

There will be no shortage of solo canoes, and I'm sure no shortage of people willing to let you paddle theirs. I'll have my tandem, but it solos well and you'll be welcome to try it out.

I am so excited to get to make the event this year!! Several of us got to make the rec class in June for the first time and had a great time making new paddling contacts. Look forward to paddling with them again and meeting more! Even added another kayak to my fleet just for my Arkansas paddles Diane

Any chance of starting the tie dye activities a little earlier, perhaps 10:00? I ask because I know Gracie will want to participate in that and Saturday's float, and I'm sure some others will too. Right now the plan is to meet up for that at 11:00, which would be cutting it a little too close. Thinking 10:00 might be doable though. Thoughts?
