Sorry 4 of us.
Got folks that play that invest an hour plus in driving time to be there & some that come straight from work that have to pack up their gear the night before to make it. They appreciate knowing whether they'll be enough to play before they invest their time & gas money vs. showing up & finding out there is not enough to play.
Taking the time to post here is simple, effective & a great way to show your fellow paddlers you respect their time.

This is my Boatball planning: I start packing my gear and loading my boat up Tuesday night. Than I drive 40 miles to work. I work till 5 and can't take a lunch because I fear that some one will steal my boat. Than I drive another 20 miles to Westfork. Than after boatball I have to do about 60miles back home to Wharton Total trip 120 miles but the pay off of playing is worth it! I would be upset if I was one of those 4 waiting.

Victor, we need to talk about this. You could leave your boat at my place on Tucson Loop, or at least lock it down to something in my yard, so it doesn't have to sit on top of your car all day....
And, "too dependent on tech," could be a bad thing or it could be a handy way to avoid burning unnecessary fuel... I for one, have plenty of places closer to my house where I can go paddle around on flat water... It's not worth the drive to West Fork unless all you fine folks are going to be down there.

I'm not upset. I was just on the river all day and wasn't sure if I would make it back in time to play boatball, hence I never posted that could or couldn't make it. Y'all posted that it was canceled, I just never checked once I got off the river. That's my problem.
Hopefully we'll see everyone next week.

I say, and I intend it emphatically, let the river be.

:) I'm just jealous that you were on the river while I was at work!

Victor - Do you really expect any of us to believe that part about you skipping lunch?
