Karla,
Don't be confusing folks! We're meeting at the take-out, AKA Hwy 65 bridge, AKA N35.29957 W92.4036 :hammer2:

Torpedo,
Do you think Cove Creek will hold up for a Sunday run? DeBo's telling me she wants to go see that, so I'll be up for another trip on Sunday in addition to our Saturday Cadron run.

Cowper,

I'm not really sure. I've only paddled it once and the Cadron gauge at guy was at ~5.5 ft if I remember correctly. It is suggested that you run it when the Cadron gauge at Guy is above 4 ft. I was at Cove Creek Natural Area on January 6 when the Cadron gauge was at ~2.5 ft and it looked a little low but floatable. I think there would have been minimal dragging. I think it would be worth a shot on Sunday. I'll probably be on the Buffalo for an overnighter on Sunday otherwise I would join. Let me know if you have other questioins.

I think 3ft on the Cadron is nice no drag trip on the Cove.

Since you're not there to show us,

Did you put in along Hwy 124 near Martinville? N35.3213 W92.4855

Did you take out on Mallet Town road? N35.2791 W92.48583

Cowper-

Yes, I put in at Martinville at took out at Mallet Town. I might be able to join Sunday - it seems as if my tentative overnighter plans might have fallen through.

I'm gonna have my tandem buffalo. You may not be able to keep up with team We66er. My 8 year old said we had to beat everyone bc he explained it to me like this: "if you aren't first, your last!". Too much NASCAR on Sunday's. LOL

But if you live in NLR, you can meet me at the crystal hill parking lot @ 845hrs. I'll be the only one with a red boat. I can carry both canoes and gear. You just have to supply the straps to secure your vessel.

Thanks Cowper for organizing a paddle on the Cadron today. Beautiful sunny day. Great time with ones I already know and others I met for first time  Then good food to follow at Old Chicago in Conway. Look forward to further paddling and hope for mild temps, more rain and good levels and sunny for the weekends.
