Nah...I think that was my one and only trip up there. It's a long drive and I can get to the Ocoee in about the same amount of time. I'll still be teaching at Canoe School though.

I purchased a new XP 10 for $998 a couple months ago. It was freight and sales tax free from Outdoor Play. I also purchased a second one off this site for my lady. KC Kayaker has offered a friend of mine a new XP10 for $850. CKS is offering new XP10s for $850. Outdoor Play dot com will ship free and without sales tax. If you join their little club for $25 you can get 15% off. That nets about the same price. In summary, I think new XP 10's are now worth about $850.
BTW, I really like my XP10. There is room for my size 13 shoes and there is room for gear or float bags in front of my feet. It is almost as manuverable as my Nomad with the skeg retracted. I can paddle fine without a skeg but with the skeg I can achieve much faster speeds in the long pools. The sealed rear hatch is a real plus too. Now I have a place for some gear that is easier to access. If you get one, be sure to lube the hatch seal with petroleum jelly or something otherwise it sticks shut really bad. Once lubed, it can be opened by lifting with finger while banging the middle of the cover with the other hand.
Good luck on your search!

There is also a way to put a "handle" on the hatch lid. Edgar made several of them and posted pics on the board. It's worth finding the post! They work great. The sealed rear hatch is a real plus too. I'm happy to get my LL Remix XP 10's at Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters in Hot Springs. Their current price is $999, but they give a 10% discount to ACC members. They also give great service. I've bought 3 XP 10s from them and should have two more (a pink one & a lime green one) to pick up next week. I love Liquid Logic boats!!
