Since I am so new, does anyone have a list of gear they normally bring? Particularly is there a tent anyone is in particular love with?

I'm guessing food, change of clothes, fishing gear, etc. But there is always that little thing I tend to forget, like a dry bag. hehhhe

Drats, I would like to go but if you choose the week of August 8th I can't as a new grandson will make his way into the world that week and I have grandma duties to attend to. Have fun!

Might be able to carve out a couple of days that week. If not no hard feelings. Not to worry Ms. Annie. The river's not going anywhere. We'll throw together another one.

considering an overnight float on the white this weekend with my bro in law and our two 11yr old boys. doubt you guys are going this weekend, but if so it would be nice to meet a few guys from the board. probably wouldn't be doing the millage you guys are talking about doing and not sure where we will be putting in or who we are renting our boats from but if y'all end up doing it this weekend it's be nice to hook up with y'all some where along the float.
any one have a recommendation for canoe rental.

My son is moving to Utah and needs my help. We leave Thursday. Not sure when I will be back so I most likely will not be on this trip whenever it takes place.
Enjoy the White. It is an underused paddling resource.

Ya, that's how these things go. Looks like some of my family have taken a turn for the worse as well and I'm stuck for a bit.

Bump; sorta. Will probably be taking my BIL and ten year old nephew on a float 9/30 - 10/2. Chances are the White will be the only thing with enough water to float my raft, which is what we'll be in, but final decisions regarding when and where won't be made for a while. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
