I will be back out there again for work so I may be headed out there that weekend possably sooner.

If I'm there that weekend I'd love to run with you guys, I will just have to drive my own truck since I will be there a couple weeks.

Having read the guidelines, I hope I am not out of line in posting this. We have loved having members of the Arkansas canoe Club stay with us, and look forward to the return of those members. We also hope that those of you coming to the Ocoee area who do not know us, will give us a try. We have been open for two years now, and have a brand new shower house. Tenting is along the creek and we are located only 13 miles from the Ocoee. Weather permitting, I cook pancake and egg breakfasts on Sunday mornings, and there are several restaurants not too far from us in Ducktown and Murphy. Please take a look at our website

I'm one who has stayed at Persimmon Creek Campground, and I can't say enough good things about the place, and when we were there the shower house wasn't even built! :? Now, this place is a great fully functional campground, where you don't have to worry about raft guides keeping you up ALL night, but nobody's going to shut you down at 10pm or hassle you about having adult beverages. What you will get is a good location and great people. Karen and Tony are great hosts, keep the place clean, and love to visit and make new friends. IMHO, this is just the sort of place we want!

Happy Paddling!
Marianne :D
