Have you tried the Jackson Hero Series?

I have a Super Hero, has the Fun hull basically and a Rocker top. Tons of room and surfs great. I went from a Mega Rocker to the Second generation Super Hero mainly for the ability to surf better and was very surprised how well the Super Hero works as a creeker and fun river runner.

I'm very pleased with my Pyranha Karnali L. I had been considering the Jackson Hero, but the Karnali, barely used, showed up on Craigslist for a great price. But at 48 lbs. and 80 gals., in retrospect, something smaller may have been fine for our local creeks since I'll probably never hit the large Colorado gorges.

The only real complaint I have about the design of the diesel is the ratchet straps hit the skirt and that the seat isn't as comfy as jackson sweet cheeks. I may throw the sweet cheeks from my 4fun in there though.

As far as everything else goes I just need to get used to the boat more.
