I'd be mindful of how much rain the Ozarks have gotten and take that into account when putting on a Class IV creek at high water with III-IV skills.

Also note that the EFLB drainage appeared to have wind damage from the storms on Saturday and there was a lot of new wood in Stepp Creek yesterday.

Be safe, scout ahead, a lot of water and wood are not a good combination.

You guys be safe and have fun. Watch out for downed trees, cause I'd like to paddle with you guys again as soon as I'm done with these d*#@ papers. I'd swear it rains every time I can't go. So you owe me! Maybe see you @ the NW meeting tonight.

This water is just about to get to me! Between drought and other interests, I haven't been in my boat. Now, things are rockin' and I'm still on the disable list after a bike crash a couple of months ago. It is, indeed, adding insult to injury!

Hailstone was BIG today guys. 4 of us went despite several warnings. We were on the lookout for the lost 17 year old boy. Found what we belive was thier throw bag but no signs of anyone else.

The run was very flowing with HUGE waves and holes. Dodging those in my playboat was a blast!

We made it in 3.5 hours and that included a couple stops.

It was a great time for sure

Wow, 3.5 hours. That is quick. Some of those holes could swallow a car.
Glad you guys had a great run.
