another river that's great for canoe camping and is a lot closer to Big D is the Ouachita. Though I've never been on it, I know there's miles of easy river and great gravel bars upstream of Lake Ouachita. Might be worth checking out. And it might even have enough water in June.

I agree with Randy. If they're into :beer: Beers and fishing, they could just do Dragover and over and over and over and over......... :poke:
