Re: NEW 300 FEET PER MILE CREEK
I can see some colorful named rapids with it being a tributary of little peter creek.

Let me know if you decide to paddle it, I think it looks ripe for a flotilla of Taureaus.. :)

While you were finding new slides for the kiddies, I had a hike with a few of my Ozark Society buddies on the OHT where it crosses the upper Mulberry on Sat.
It was above the Knee and MIGHTY cool!
But after a 7 mile walk that cold water felt good.
Give me holler some time when you go Chute lookin'.

Well I found myself with some time on my hands and had to hike to see this little jewel. Overall, it seems to be a very runnable creek with some cleaning, and there was plenty of water in it with what I can only assume is regular flow since we havent had alot of rain lately.
I could alllmost get a boat down the big drop today. Actually, once you commit to that thing, you're just going along for the ride after that. Great drop, super accessible. GOOD FIND CAP'N!
I got some pics and video too, and a big thanks to Kim Head for helping me locate it, and joining me on the hike in. We were both blown away by how pretty this creek is. The briars however, will tear you to pieces.
There appears to be a four wheeler road above the creek high on a ridgeline. Not sure how far down it goes, but would make for very easy access to the main drop at least.
I can't wait to see it with some more water going through.

This creek is a beauty, making me wish I were a better a boater, so I could get me some of that triple-drop slide. Thanks, Joe, for calling the Head-Little household about the hike! Let us know when you're ready to go back to hike the rest.
The briars aren't that bad if you're wearing jeans. I wouldn't want to tear a good drysuit on them, though.

Teach me to leave the state and go paddling.
