Heading for the takeout and my favorite 2 pictures of the day(titled - "How to dress your husband so he can't backseat drive") or "Alms for the blind".
Thanks to everyone for a fun day on the water with great friends.

Today was just such a great New Year's Day float! I had a ball talking to everyone as we floated along! Thank you Debbie so much for organizing our trip! I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with old friends, and meeting new folks,' and' our stop for lunch and cider, it was all so very nice! What a fun day.

Best Regards
Jim Moose

Ohhhhh Man!
I brought a quart sized cup for the Red Hot Cider and somehow never made it to the table.
Next year!
Thank you Debo for planning this. What a great start to a new year.

Thanks everyone for making my New Year's Day a very special day - I enjoyed meeting everyone. I especially want to thank Mikki for taking this Texican under her wings and sponsoring me. It was fun!

Hope you all will consider coming to White River NWR for a trip on the White with a dutch oven dinner and overnight camping here soon.

Again thanks from the bottom of my pea pickin' heart! TexasAnnie aka Ann Carr

Thanks again to Debo and Richard!
What a great way to spend a New Year's day.

Put that Cider back, Richard, and then next time
you won't need to add the kicker to punch it up.
It will already be potent.

I am sooooo bummed about missing the float!! Yesterday was my birthday! I had planned on going . . . then I got a nasty chest cold and didn't want to share it with anyone. Looks like a great bunch of folks had a fun day. Waaaaaaa Maybe next year . . .

Really enjoyed my day New Years day paddling with great folks and the hot apple cider was the best. Do we really have to wait til spring for another paddle. Catch a good weekend with temps in the 40's or higher and arrange another swamp paddle. What do you think Debo? Glad to meet new people and getting out with the group for some fun in the sun.

Karla :D
