Thanks for the additional info. It looks as though, through the help of several good friends in ACC, we'll be able to get another southern boat up here.

Max has brought up several canoes and kayaks over the last few years. I have to admit that the Arkansas boats all seem to show a level of courtesy and charm that we seldom see in northern-raised boats. (Or perhaps that is just my East Texas upbringing that makes me think so...)

I'm sending off a check to Chris tomorrow, Paul from Fayetteville has offered to shepherd to boat over there and Julie has agreed to foster the boat there until we get down there in February. what great friends we have in Arkansas!
