Shouldn't what you do with your Native American friends be kept between the two of you and the teepee?

Your rain dance worked, but for the wrong area. Some areas north and east of springfield got 6+ inches. Unfortunately those areas are mostly flat with little options for whitewater. When I get home tonight I will do some poking around to see if any of the little whitewater creeks by my house are going, but I doubt it.

But Dave,

The native american you pictured actually doesn't have a mohawk. He's actually wearing a roach! Probably made from porcupine hair.

And now we had a little rain last night, but not enough to get stuff up!

Keep on dancing....

Right you are Tony! You catch that painterbob? :poke: By attaching the pic of the Native, I was really just adding a pic of someone rain dancing. It's been said that " A post without pictures is useless : )." The pseudo hairdo was an accidental bonus, but I do appreciate the plug painterbob gave.
Now... how about that rain! My wish for some Labor Day paddling water didn't come true. Perhaps with all the drinking going on this weekend there will be a few more rain dances and in turn, next week we get dumped on. Just being, maybe a little too, optimistic. However, the forecast for next week is showing rain. So you never know. There's always Rockport for those of us who aren't lucky enough to travel to water over the holiday. By the way, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Labor Day. Have fun and be safe wherever you find yourself at this weekend!
Paddle on,
Dave Thomas

Rain or not, I'm just thankful for the lower temps here lately. Never thought I'd be happy to see the thermometer above my toolbox reading 90*... Whoever is doing the "Cooler Weather" dance, keep it up, fall is almost here.
