Heather, you are the very best ever! Even with my poor computer skills I followed your link and can now login and stay in. Thank you soooo much!

Re: Message Board: Can't Login/Stay Logged In
Although this topic is almost 2 weeks old, I thought I would share my experience with the “staying logged in” problem. Last night I had trouble staying logged in so I dutifully followed the instructions on deleting the cookies on my Internet Explorer (IE) 8.0. I still could not stay logged in. As I was working on the problem, I saw a note somewhere that I needed to close IE to clear the cookies out of my random?? current?? memory (I don’t know what sort of memory. Computers are mostly a mystery to me.) But when I closed IE and then opened it up again & went to the ACC website (“Miracles of miracles”), I was able to stay logged in.
Bottom line: If you delete the cookies and still cannot stay logged in, try closing IE and opening it again.

I am running Firefox 3.6.2
You can find out your version by clicking on help, then click on about Mozilla Firefox
It changes with various releases of firefox, but below is the areas I looked at to get my ACC Msg board to keep me logged in. I had found other areas to control things but settings in this area is what solved the problems for me.
Here is how I got to the area:
Clik on Tools, then options, then privacy
Look at the bottom area where it has a check box labeled to clear history when firefox closes. look to the right of this line and you will see box labeled "privacy"
Clik on the "privacy" box
It will open a box showing all sorts of things to clear when firefox closes. I have found that this is the bottom line control on what gets cleared and what is not cleared.. You might want to first clear cookies, restart and then allow cookies.
Hope this helps if anyone is still having the problems with clearing cache and keeping or deleting cookies

Re: Message Board: Can't Login/Stay Logged In
Thanks for thehow to clear cookies link. I couldn't stay logged in to post either and i deleted my cookies and it worked. thought it was just my computer that was messed up causing it, as some of my desk top icons have recently been disappearing too. Maybe with any luck this might have fixed that also.
