BTW, I love the look of the baseball-cap helmets. But I've always been a little concerned that if that long bill hit a rock while I was "checkin' out the fishes" it could make for a bad snap-back of neck and head. Legitimate concern or overactive imagination on my part?

I have had that happen in a strainer drill in a SWR class with TSRA several years ago. I ended up with a black eye and a jacked up nose. If i remember correctly Tom or Walter dont allow the longer bill helments in the SWR classes, I may be wrong. I have one a dont like it because of that reason. It happened once and it could happen again. They also dont hold up to 1-tons. :wink:
