Mary is off work tomorrow, and she says we will be there, probably wanting to do the longer float as well. We will be in the Suburban and the Red Endurall, and have Mary's Dog Chloe with us.

Hmmmm... What type cookies to bake?

See you at the River!

Gary and I are in and will be there. I will be trying out OOO demo of the 2010 Burn for first time on the river. Tried it in the pool and liked it. Now for the real test. We will be at Baker Ford by 1000, don't leave us, we will be there. We may just do to Grinders, will know more and see how it is going whether we will do further.

I'll stop by Grinders about 10 & see what direction everyone is going. The big red truck is sick, so watch for a bright YELLOW Jeep.

Is anyone interested in overnighting Saturday night? If so, I will bring the camping gear. Otherwise it stays home.

Thank you everyone for a beautiful day on the river, and particular thanks to all those who ran the shuttle for us down to Gilbert. Perfect first trip of the year on the Buffalo. Was nice to see both the old and the new faces. Hope I didn't drool on anyone's boat. Nice to see all of those designs I don't have too.

Look forward to paddleing with y'all again, and if I can ever return the shuttle favor just ask.

Eric

I did take a few shots with the camera today, and will try to post them after I find my cable to do it.

WONDERFUL day on the Buffalo! The sights, the smells, the sounds....the sunshine and breeze. It felt so WONDERFUL to be OUTSIDE! Should have put the sunscreen on...got a little red on my arms!!!!

Thank you Richard for organizing the trip! Thank you to EVERYONE who ran the extra shuttle that let a few of us travel on down to Gilbert. We just couldn't tear ourselves away from the river quite yet!

New (to me) canoe was AWESOME. And I don't think I got any scratches on it either!

This was a day that was very, very good for my SOUL. Thanks everyone!

OH! It's not going to happen tonight, but I pledge to get my photos uploaded sometime tomorrow! Pinky swear!

Thanks Heather and Wes for sharing your pictures. As I was looking through the pictures, I felt they pretty much told the story. However what they didn't tell was the way things happened to end up the way they did. Stewart was heading to the Buffalo but not with us until they passed Heather and Sarah. Stewart masterminded the original shuttle which enabled us to get on the river earlier than planned. Cowper and Debo were also a welcome surprise and Cowper was the mastermind behind the Gilbert shuttle for which those of us who did the extended trip were most grateful. Wonderful day with a bunch of great people.

To all of you who were there, thank you for making this such a pleasant experience.

I have copied the picture links to the beginning of the thread.

Thanks ms Lupe. Second shot of my bow man is great.. I may be a tad bias. I like what ur camera does. Some great shots. Credit to the operator, also.

Daniel woke that morn with an upset tummy. Thought I was backing out for a while. SOOOO glad I talked him into it. While most of me wanted to continue to Gibert with yall, but found out later it was good I did not. Thanks so much all. What a day.

Didn't take many pictures - out of practice. They should start here about picture 480 with Heather's canoe shot.

Found the cord and down loaded 497 shots. Will post more shots from roll practices, session Funkhouser set up, etc.
