Very good points, Dave. A lot of us are starting to strongly feel that as far as our tax dollars go, nation building needs to begin at home. Why is it
we lag much behind other developed nations in infrastructure, communications infrastructure,high tech gadgets per capita...?

Came across these researching Haiti, notice the reference to Gen. Smedley Darling Butler in the first link. The second link is an entire booklet which he wrote in 1935, "War is a Racket". Enjoy.
