Richard,
I can give you a website that has all of the GPS coordinates for all of the campsites, and portages, all you have to do is find the number of the campsite or portage then look it up on the chart. Also you do see a few Argosys. Many people think they are a little short for big water, therefore they like the Prism, or the Encounter, also Merlins, and Magics from Bell. I have a Wilderness which I would take if I were doing another solo or going with a group solo. Other than that I use my Souris River Quetico 18.5, tandem which is 18.5 ft long 36 inches wide, weighs 58 lbs, and carries a 1300 lb load. I will find the web site and post it on here shortly.

Here is the web page that contains, a database with all of the campsite, and portage GPS coordinates. It also contains a map or several depending on where you want to look, with the campsite numbers and portage numbers. There is a way you can download it to your GPS, but since I use a chartplotter I just find the coordinates and enter them into my GPS. Other than that I just buy a map of the area I want to go and use it.

Let me know if you need more info.

Nice, very nice.

Been a while since I was up there

Then, we got the maps and it was orient the map and shoot a compass bearing.

Thanks for sharing
