You'd love em Spanke. Check them out on youtube. They are on the Dry Meadow Cr, a trib of the Kern in Cali.
I've seen pics of Lance and Kyle Bogard on the AW site running Superfreak.

They look very similiar.
Did the Chilean version. Lots of fun, photos are awesome and the drops are pretty mellow.
Have not done the CA version, which looks like maybe a notch or so more difficult to me from just looking at the images.

Very cool DR. I had no idea there are two sets of teacups. Both are equally scenic.

I posted pictures on facebook of a similar set of falls I found in the Sierras on Evolution Creek. Rush Sturges said he didn't think they had ever been run. I'll try to remember to post a picture tonight.

Perfect! You'll be ready for the race by next fall!
Lol, in my dreams...

Wouldn't it be nice to be one of the few girls on that list!
Fishie, what I get in location, I have to sacrifice in pay, work hours, stress level, etc. It's give and take but I think worth it. We shall see I guess.

And yes you'd better visit!

That would be a hard choice Cathy! The Green runs 200+ days a year, but you would have easy access to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia! Have you seen The Range Life blog?

Maybe we can trade, Cathy. I have a good, flexible job 10 hrs from the nearest reliable whitewater.

P.S. Sorry, but I'm not counting Arkansas as reliable. Fun, but not reliable.

Woah those are sick, I really want to hit up those in California (I'd obviously love to do the ones in Chile too). My whitewater resolution: get west, bow stall, run a 30+ footer

Here's the one on Evolution Creek. There's only 4 drops in the picture, but it continued dropping off like that below. I'm not sure how many drops it had total or if it could be paddled all the way down to the San Joaquin.
