Forget the cool instructor and new yak. Go old school. Talkin wwOC-1. No weight issues. You can put a beachball in each end to deter sinkin to the bottom of the river. Room for the beer cooler, though not recommended for ww. No ability to do flips, etc. thus no expectations. Only one paddle blade to deal with. Try that Canadian ww canoe that comes in camo color, wear an orange helmet and vest you're ready for dear season. Then there's rafts!

Now that I think about it., that explains a lot... Perhaps I'll just take up rafting and be cool for hauling beer.

Whoever brought up the toenails thing reminds me of something I've been wondering for a while. Why do raft guides paint their nails? I've heard being in water for long amounts every day deteriorates them, but I don't believe it.

Fish- get back in that long boat and do some big enders, no matter where you're at those always get yells and cheers

Bill, I know you used to have that prehistoric Old Town, but if you want to try tandeming in royalex boat with your new bow partner, I'll lend you one for a trip. Or does she believe in paddleing her own boat. Also got that Howler if you want a hot boat and she wants to solo.

19 foot aluminum canoes. From the 70's.

Those are cool.

As far as loops goes, I can help. All you have to do is find a very sticky hole and plow your bow into it. At some point you might loop. Works for me and I'm a 300 pounder.

But for help with being cool, I can not help you in that department.

Fish, you lost any cool status when you forced me to listen to RATT for 6 hours on the way to Missouri, not to mention I've heard you utter "We're in luck, Prairie Home Companion is coming on" more than once. I still love you though. Any Ryan, you can eat a !#**.

Fish, I was going to tell you to get with some really good female playboater and she could teach you a thing or two. However since you are engaged you must have a man teach you, like yoda. Good luck with your search.
