Thursday?
Re: Thursday?
I vote for upper lil MO....I have never ran it but sounds like a couple of paddlers on the thread have.
9' (last reading) is awful high....Greg, what is a good level out of the dangerous zone?
Will check back here in morning to see what everyone thinks....still want to hit it early if at all possible.

Re: Thursday?
6 foot on the gauge is good for the upper little mo depends upon how fast it falls too as you can see on the gauge it falls pretty quick. I've got to get up early in the morning to call in sick to work. I usually get up at 4 in the morning so I'll just wait till the morning and check gauges and radar.
I'd really like to man up and try Shoal creek but I'd like it better if someone that had done it before was there to show the way.

Hey, I just got on here, but the upper tot is kickin it hard....what would correlate to about 14 on the gauge...hard to tell for sure in the dark, but it's way up and raining alot still. Got tomorrow off and am thinking it may be a small creek day if it rains all night. If you guys decide to do the upper tot form way above 246 down , give me a call ....479-243-2095. That's my stretch, and I'm ready!!!

Greg: No problem with you or your abilities: Seen 'em, they're good to go. Can't resist a poke now and then.
My vote would be for Li'l Mo or upper Tot. Let's make the call in the morning.

Re: Thursday?
Just looked at the gauges, and if we keep getting rain, the Tot may do another 20 footer this year......those are supposed to be 10 to 20 years apart, aside from earlier this year i think it was about 4 years ago. I,m up for somthin really good tomorrow if everything is high. Maybe Blaylock into the Lil Mo, or Brushy or for sure the upper Tot if it drops a little. You can start about 7 miles above the Gilham Sprgs bridge on FS 31 if you come in from the south (hiway246), and stop @ 246 if the river is still high, for 10 miles. A very nice run. About 9' on the gauge is the highest i,ve floated it. Call me..

Re: Thursday?
Little Mo may drop enough to be good if the rain stays south like it appears it will. Harris creek or brushy may be good options if it doesn't drop enough.
My friend from Fayetteville is headed this way soon and is gonna call me when he gets to Fort Smith to see what the plan is. I'm gonna finish getting my stuff together you can call me at 501 304-1330

Meeting at 84 bridge mid morning. We'll take a look and decide. Enough rain already!
Will have my cell. First timers beware.. especially if the lil mo climbs again.

Re: Thursday?
I'm sure it was big fun by the time my friend Justin from fayetteville showed up at 11:30 we thought it would be better if there was more than 3 of us to run it that big so we decided to go run Brushy creek instead.
It was fun had never done it before wasn't as badass as the Mo but it was a lot faster than the Mo mostly 2plus I think might have been 3 with less water. No willow jungles at all which was pretty nice for a creek run.
