Impressive are the five first descents of the cata-canoe. Most impressive!

I used to run some creeks with a guy back in 1972 who spoke of similar fantastic voyages. His descriptions were vivid & colorful, much like yours. Found out later on that many of his epic trips were chemical induced. This however did not in any way diminish his fond memories.
