I hear ya.

Everything and I mean everything south of Camden, AR is flooded and I mean flooded. Lots of fishin and huntin camps and the town of Felsenthal are under water. The last I heard the Ouachita is between 15 and 20 feet above flood stage. You'd never kow the Ouachita River down here is the same one over by Mt. Ida.

Carver is looking too low. Watching levels and picking later. Hope to be in the Wollum area?

Clif, I'm looking at the Pruitt gauge and it's still up over 5.5ft. as of 9pm Sat. 5/30 night. Isn't that plenty of water for Pruitt on down? Hope so, 'cause that's where I was going to head in the morning. Otherwise I'll do Mt. Hersey to Tyler Bend.

THIS site is saying 4.6 tonight. Info I have says 4.8 to 6.6 is ample. You are in the high "low but" range so should be fine. It will be too low for our taste by Thurs unless it rains.

I guess I should just give in and wear my reading glasses...

Yes, it's 4.6 at Pruitt. I'm not sure I have a current chart for "ample", as the old one indicates 2.0 as the low end of ample. But seeing Ponca at 28"+ and HWY65 at 5.9, your 4.8 for Pruitt makes more sense.

Thanks!

We had the same conflicting info. Seems the gauge was changed last year I think. Numbers I posted were from a sheet I got from the visitor center at Tyler Bend last week. Any others with more "real" data?

4.6 is a nice level for Pruitt to Mt. Hersey. :) A few places where you have to choose wisely, but I didn't drag anywhere.

hope to be able to shuttle around 10ish from Woolum. I don't think enough level boost will come to change this plan.

Great trip. Thanks to Hannah for "putting up" with my boys. Some great splash wars. Big thanks for the experienced Mo,lady that shared knowledge with us on the first leg. Ready for the next one.

You there Wes? we still on? I would kinda like to try Gilbert to Maumee. Stay away from the helicopter pool.
