Will the level hold enough for tomorrow? I haven't done the tot yet, so Gordon or mgood would you be able to point of some of the lines if I go?

Well then Roman - you are the guy "most" women who don't get the basics of paddling, are looking for

Most guys just drop everything when the rivers come up (including dates). It's a way of life

I warned one of my non-paddling girlfriends about this when I set her up with a paddling buddy of mine and she said she was cool with it, but when her plans got changed due to a massive rainstorm, that was all she wrote.......

Great level today and many were doing laps on the falls trying out new lines....sometimes by design and sometimes not. Not sure if it will be posted, but I know that someone caught some carnage on video today.

All equipment was recovered and everyone that put on this morning made it out safe.
It sure was good to see old and new faces on moving water. Sorry I missed the Conway crew.

Friday was an awesome day on the Cossatot. Sunny and 60's felt wonderful, especially after that week of gray and ice!
A couple newbie boaters came out for their first taste of the Cossatot...was there some carnage? Well, yeah, maybe a little...but they both really did great...and they increased their ww experience by 100% in one day!! Congrats to Curtis and Jordan on their maiden Cossatot voyage.

Also, thanks to all the other boaters out there - Renee, Diane, Andy, Michele, Jeremy...oomph - there were so many I won't be able to name them all. But thanks to all of you for helping keep an eye out, especially through the Esses.
Here's some photos I took...

Some of you might recognize this guy, a bit more growed-up now! (photo is blast from past, circa 2005...I just had to dig it out!)

But wait, you said this was their
first WW kayaking experience. So doesn't that mean that their experience was increased by a factor of infinity?
I'd like to second the motion thanking our large contingent of support boaters. I knew at the start of the day that we would have at least three "shepards" for our first timers, but in the Esses I think we ended up with a total of 18 boats, of which more than a dozen could have been classified as support boaters. I love it when a plan comes together; it is even better when there was no plan and it comes together anyway!
