We had about 40 people show up for yesterday's session at the Jones Center, and probably 10 folks devoted their pool time to helping others learn to paddle and roll. Thanks again to everyone who helped out! Hopefully I won't be sick for the next one and can do more than just give advice from the side of the pool!

Next session is in two weeks - see you there!

It was a great session, one of the best we've had.

But question, Mr President - Next week, or in two weeks? The schedule David Dinan put out says next three weeks are scheduled, then 2 weeks off, then last two Saturdays in February.

Obviously I flunked calendar mathematics back in college. Trust David's schedule and not my flawed interpretation of it. See you in ONE week!

Next week we might need more of the pool than what we had I couldn't believe how many people showed up for the pool sessions. Next week we could have fifty to sixty! I think this was a great turn out for the club.

Sure you can borrow a skirt. Usually there are extras or at least folks who aren't using theirs all the time. Just post here in advance reminding us and we'll make sure we have a spare on hand.

Chances of borrowing something are real good - last week I brought 3 carbon fiber sticks to let folks use and 2 skirts, although none were small enough in the tunnel for the women. Like was said, just let us know again before the session, and someone will try to help out.

I'm planning on bring 2 boats tomorrow. One will be a black Hollowform Riverchaser if anyone wants to try it out for grins to see what old school was really like. It's been rigged for Susan, so Ryan, and others of his build won't fit in it, but if you can fit in it, you might find it interesting to see what kayaks were like 30-35 years ago when all kayaks were 13'2" long, and there were no planing hulls or "play" boats.

Eric

Hope to see as many assisstants and participants this week as last week.

9AM to 11:30AM at the Jones Center on Emma Street.

I would like to learn to roll my new boat and wanted to know if anyone planning to attend this Saturday can help me out.

Thanks in advance!

There should be plenty of folks there for this coming Sat 24 to help you out just come in and ask anyone standing there in the pool they will help, or come in early to get a good head start.

I can definitely say I spend most of my week looking forward to getting a couple hours of pool time in on saturday.
