yes, a great time was had by all !!!...... sunburn, and whitewater!does it get any better! :wink: ........ this wasn't the kind of weather i'm known for! :lol: ... didn't have any storm warnings,flash flooding, no wind, no hail, no ranger's with rescue gear!! but this was aquagirl and her family's first time paddling with me ,so i had to take it easy!.. :lol: ( but they PASSED THE TEST WITH FLYING COLORS!!) ................ susan , sorry you got hit by that storm! we sure missed everyone. but, i hope it didn't wreck the new horseshoe pit! ,or tent camping test area!! :poke:

Argh! I was nursing a foot injury and couldn't go. Bummer! :(

Painterbob, where were you? I waited for you all wkend like a lost dog on the side of the road! :( haha Did you run Boxley? What a great day to paddle. My gf and I and another buddy put in on Crooked Creek about a mile from my house and made about a 5 mile run. The water was awesome! Alot of tight technical turns on the creek for sure and lots of surfing waves to play on.....how was camping?

i knew that the honey's! were the deal breaker!.... i caught a low one at boxley on friday night. the willows still were harder to get out of, and thicker that the 4 th. but the big wave's were still rolling.... really got some good water for the end of summer !!

Thats great!!! Where did you end up camping?? You could not ask for a nicer wkend in 'them hills' its too flat for me down here....
