Anyone tried a Kokatat Knappster?

Post by DMG » Thu Mar 25, 2010 10:33 pm

I'm thinking of a Knappster to replace the NRS Stampede Jacket that I ripped the inner tunnel out of. The tunnel in that jacket was only seam-taped in but the failure probably had much more to do with improper sizing and the excessive girth of its wearer (I'm a "typical 6ft, 175lb kayaker" except without the 6ft). I am looking for a jacket with a sewn and taped tunnel, though. The Knappster looks to be sewn in the picture. Has anyone had one of these? How are the gaskets? How is the Gore-Tex PACLITE shell? I've heard nothing but good about Kokatat; just wondering if anyone had experience with this particular product. Thanks!
