ACC Trivial Pursuit Question of the Day

Post by Fish » Tue Mar 23, 2010 11:19 am

What famous whitewater river in Arkansas has a ship named after it?

I'm going to guess the Cossatot, and, I swear I did not click on the link to wikipedia and see the whole story.

Am I right, do I win a prize!!!???!!! 8)

I think I'm the only contestant on "I have to work while everyone else is on Spring Break or they played hookie to go paddling today" or in other words, "The Biggest Loser!" :(

What is "desk pinned"?

I'll take "People Who Don't Live Near Whitewater Anymore" for $1000 Alex. :-(

Category: What is Cowper's Outage work schedule?

Answer: Best way to know Richland will run three days in a row, one of which was on a weekend, and two of which will be warm and sunny...

On this wonderful spring break day, I paddled Richland with Nick, Hunter, Max, Jim, Jen, and BillyW! 70 degrees, blue skies with wisp of clouds, 3.2? on the gauge (18" airspace) and an early start!!

What was the question again?

Roger, you are voted off the thread. Don't pass go, don't collect $200.

Oh, for crying out loud.

What's going on here?

I just started my "outage" work schedule (the one where I can't get off on short notice for the next 30 or so days), and 4 of the 5 days Richland has been above 3 feet.

For 100 bonus point, can anyone look at the Richland gage and guess which one of those days was my day off?

(you can't make this stuff up...)

Ding-ding-ding! We have a winner! I was off yesterday.

Whitewater paddling opportunities should remain available until at least next Tuesday, which also happens to be my next day off.
