WTB - Used Canoe before this weekend!

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a used canoe for two. The cheaper the better. I don't care what it looks like as long as it's a floater. I'd like it to paddle well also :)

I'd be on rivers like the mulberry and the piney mostly...
Please let me know what you have or if you know of anyone. I would like to come get it before this weekend!

Yea, I saw that listing on there and would love to get one. It's just a hair to far for me to drive. If I don't end up scoring one by the weekend, I'll probably consider it.


Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction... When I'm looking at canoes, lengths, hull designs what do I need to be looking for? I won't be doing anything serious in this tandem just mostly weekend trips, usually with two people in the canoe. I've canoed alot just always borrowed a friends canoe. I've also been in some canoes that just suck on a creek :)
