Mulberry River Movie - Tuesday, February 2nd


The River Valley Chapter will be showing the film, The Arkansas' Mulberry River Video at the Fort Smith Public Library (3201 Rogers Avenue) on Tuesday, February 2nd at 7 PM. The program is free and open to the public; we will probably have a short meeting for club members following the program. The video was produced by Matt Farrell, who shot over thirty hours of footage that was edited down to just under an hour. Background music was contributed by local paddler Chip Andrus, as well as Matt Farrell. The movie highlights the Mulberry River from Wolf Pen to Mill Creek in an informative and entertaining way. Copies of the video will be available for $20 the night of the program, or can be purchased from the Turner Bend store (479) 667-3641.

The movie, "Arkansas' Mulberry River" produced by Matt Farrell and sponsored by Brad Wimberly at Turner Bend was shown last night to a very nice crowd.

This is a very nice production that details four sections of the river with lots of testimonials from the people that make the "Valley of Love" a special place. Also features some original music by Matt and by Chip Andrus.
